Kowhai Cabin
Kowhai is our largest cabin. A rustic kiwi cabin which sleeps up to 8 set out in 3 bedrooms with a queen bed, two singles and 4 bunks. It has a sunny kitchen with all you’ll need to cook (including full oven) and a small dining room and lounge. It can get snug with 8 people in the cabin if the weather is not suitable. If you have high standards this is not for you, as some would call this cabin shabby chic. No ensuite. No dogs allowed without prior arrangement.
The cabin has a kitchen with sink, fridge and freezer, stove and oven, cutlery, plates, pots, pans, jug, toaster and microwave.
If you like bring drinking water, but we drink the water and are still here!
There is no BBQ at the cabin but a basic one is available at the outdoor kitchen. If you need anything we should have it in stock.
None of our cabins have bathrooms so you’ll have to use camp facilities.
It is perfect for a large family or a group and you can even put up a small tent or two on the lawn area. Cost is $140 per night for 4 people , with an extra $10 child/$25 adult.
